Note to Robert W. Bingham, 7 Aug. 1936, enclosing a copy of "Chapter XVIII" (publication unknown), entitled Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, N.Y.: The Chronology of a Beautiful American Street, apparently written by John McF. Howie, former president and manager of the Hotel Touraine. Howie discusses the formation of the Delaware Avenue Association, intended to advance commercial interests on that avenue, and issues faced by the group, including street widening and the establishment of a bus line.
